A bit of Highway 16 will be shut down all of Wednesday (February 7) night and could remain that route well into Thursday (February 8) morning. DriveBC says the torrential slide hazard has imposed the closure of more than 90 kilometers of the highway starting 13 kilometers east of Prince Rupert and closure 35 kilometers west of Terrace.
